Sketch of Brad Williams

In a hotel lobby in Washington D.C., I observed people and sketched them, as I usually did. Unknowingly, I sketched Brad Williams, a well known comedian. My parents recognized him and encouraged me to ask him to autograph my sketch.

He asked me where I wanted to go to college, at the time I wanted to go to CalArts. Before his autograph he wrote, “Think big.” I’ve always thought this was a notable little coincidence.
